Accountable for the management of patients with wound, ostomy and continence needs. Provides clinic care and education to outpatients as needed. Provides direct inpatient care and education. Serves in the role as clinician, consultant, educator and researcher. Provides leadership and direction for coordination and improvement of WOC care at Froedtert Hospital, including development of policies and procedures, guidelines, standards of care and research.
Requires BSN; Master’s degree preferred. Must be currently licensed as a nurse in the State of Wisconsin. WOCN certified preferred (or WOCN certification expected within one year of hire);
experience as a WOCN preferred. Requires recent and substantial experience as an expert clinician and educator, excellent communication skills and the ability to work with other disciplines.
