Program Overview
The program covers the details of an open, multi-center randomized control study in which 100 patients at 10 sites in the United States received the study treatment of either Mepilex® Ag or Silvadene® for partial-thickness burns. In addition, the panelists will discuss the results of a sub-study of pediatric patients aged 1 to 4 years who received Mepilex Ag treatment in three centers. Lastly, you’ll hear the nursing perspective from burn nurses involved in both studies whose main priority was to adequately control pain during procedures to maintain patient comfort.
