It seems that everyone is talking about weight and weight issues these days. There are reality shows, newspaper articles, TV documentaries, and sidewalk debates devoted to obesity, which affect many lives in many ways. Weight loss surgery (WLS) is also receiving lots of attention, and this is probably because we see some great data about the improvement or resolution of type 2 diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and sleep apnea after bariatric surgery.
